On March 23, 2023, Ghana issued Circular No. G/TBT/N/GHA/30, announcing the draft standard for sardines.The responsible agency is the Ghana Standards Authority.The draft stipulates that this standard is applicable to all commercial species of anchovy that have been boiled in brine.This standard does not cover products that have been heat treated prior to drying.The draft has a 60-day comment period.
